Hello everyone. Today I bring you my December 2017 reading wrap up. In the month of December I read six books, and I also read 50 books in the year 2017. Down below are my reviews for each of these books.

DECEMBER 2017 READING WRAP UP

THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS  BY LEWIS CARROLL

Through The Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll is the second book and final book in the Alice  In Wonderland series. This book follows Alice after she goes through the looking glass. Alice has many adventures in the looking glass. I gave this book five out of five stars, as I seem to love children’s classics.

THE WIZARD OF OZ  BY L.FRANK BAUM.

The Wizard Of Oz is another classic children’s story that I read in December. It follows the story of Dorthy and her dog Toto. The two of them are swept up by a tornado. Which sends them to a magic land, that is called The Land Of Oz. To get back home Dorthy needs to visit the Wizard Of Oz, along her journey Dorthy meets a scarecrow, a tin man, and a cowardly lion. I gave this book a three out of five stars, as I felt like this book was a little slow for me at times.

THE PERKS OF BEING A WALL FLOWER BY STEPHEN CHBOSKY

The Perks of Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky follows the story of Charlie, a freshman in high school. He writes to an anonymous source throughout the novel, telling his new friend about how his life is going and telling stories about Sam and Patrick, Charlie’s new friends from high school. I believe that Charlie might of had a mental problem when he was younger. I gave this book a four out of five stars.

WORDS OF YOU BY BEAU TAPLIN

Words Of You by Beau Taplin is a collection of poetry that I really did adore. If you’re really into to poetry, I recommend that you read this. I gave this book a four out of five stars.

LET IT SNOW BY JOHN GREEN, MAUREEN JOHNSON & LAUREN MYRACLE

Let It Snow is a collection of three short stories set on Christmas Eve. The first story is about Jubilee. Her parents get arrested, therefore she has to spend Christmas in Florida with her grandparents, however she gets stuck in Gracetown because of a snow storm. The second story is about Tobin. Him and his friends hear about cheerleaders being at the Waffle House, so they decide to go to the Waffle House to talk to said cheerleaders. A little bit of chaos does happen. The third story is about Addie and how she misses her boyfriend, and also her friends new teacup pig. These three stories intertwine with each other, while I liked that aspect of the three stories, I didn’t like the book as a whole. I gave this book a three out of five stars.

GENUINE FRAUD BY E.LOCKHART

Genuine Fraud by E.Lockhart is a murder mystery, and boy it is a mystery until maybe the last 50 pages, it’s about this girl, and two of her friends have been murdered and basically through flashbacks, the reader discovers what happens to these two girls. I quite enjoyed this book, I gave this book a five out of five stars.

As always there is a youtube video of this wrap up on the right side of the page.
